Students learn the fundamentals of drawing by creating their own cartoons and comic book characters. Projects include creating comic strips, cartoon characters, working with word balloons, and exaggerating actions. Students of all skill levels can gain from this fun and entertaining class and they are invited to draw according to their interests. Ages 6 –12.
Saturdays for 4 weeks
Starting January 19 from 10 a.m . –12.p.m.

This class allows art-loving kids to practice illustrating animals, people and scenery with different games and exercises. Each student learns drawing, painting and printing techniques to give life to his or her imagination to make an original storybook! Ages 6 –10.

Goldilocks and The Three Mutated Chipmunks from Space? Cinderella as a punk rock princess? Three Little Pigs...with Jet Packs? Let your imagination run wild as we re-tell classic stories through stop motion animation. Students will work in teams to create sets, characters, and sound effects. No experience required, but students taking past animation classes will learn new things. Ages 9 –14.

This Lego® Stop Action class brings your wonderful world of lego imaginings to life. Bring your own characters or use ours. Build worlds and imagine action packed scenarios. By taking pictures one small step at a time, students create an animated movie then add titles and sound effects. The completed movies can be taken home!
Drop in every Friday beginning January 18
5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
$15 Bring your own characters or use ours
This class will teach you to build and program your own robot. You'll learn about input, output, programming structure, gears and sensors. That may sound extremely technical but in fact, the class is not. It is also not a class in which you will sit around and listen to someone talk about robots. Robotics is a 'hands on' experience.
